I see Steve Herschbach is closing down his Detector Prospector forum. Another one bites the dust.
A shame for the detector community, seems like it was a very popular forum for them.

Re: Detector Prospector forum
Steve sure had a good run with that forum. He had "Pick 'a da Litter" for quite a while, years ago, back when he sold all the new detectors at the store there in Los Anchorage.
He certainly learned and shared his 'stuff' with many of us here on the forum.
One year he reaped a whirlwind down at Crow Creek when an old, way up high, dam and (sort of) settling pond / lake burst. As that wall of water thundered it's way down to the creek below it exposed many bits of Gold that Steve was skilled in recognizing and cleaning up. He did well that summer.
As you probably remember, Steve was a prolific contributer here years ago, until he retired and (I think) moved somewhere in the lower 48 - maybe Arizona. As with all things, time slowly changes everything around us into all bright and shiny new things.
Who knows - Steve might even return and contribute here in the future. Sure would be a good thing.
