Id love to get over to visit you and your operation this summer. I'm sure I could learn a lot. How did you determine to start mining on a high bench? is that where you've been mining all along? How deep to pay? Do you dig shafts in lieu of drilling?

Hi Flint, ya I have been mining here all along. (Stop by if you are in the area) This is a interesting creek that is perfect for hobby miners like myself. The gold has been re concentrated during the last ice age and is from the surface to about 8 ft down. No shafts or drilling required, just look for big boulders on the surface and pan around them to see if there is any gold. If so, you are off to the races. Maybe the drilling and shafts will come after I have mined out all the surface gold. Not sure depth to bedrock on these benches. Went down 30ft with the track hoe and didn't hit it. (Also no gold down that deep)

Most of the gold is all flat flake sub 12 mesh. I haven't gotten any nugs but miners a couple miles upstream do.
