More discoveries;

A SECOND anomaly appears!

To avoid confusion, let's name the first deposit and the second deposit.

We have two parallel deposits.

I have followed these deposits over a course of miles. They continue, buried and sight unseen!

GOLD prospecting can seem to be an endless exercise. Until these deposits are drilled and sampled, the world may never know what mineral riches remain to be discovered.

Stick around! :)

Connecting the dots update;

For those remote prospectors that may be interested, I have reformatted the list to make the coordinates easy to copy and paste into Caltopo. :o

I also wanted to share a topographic map image of the dots representing the anomalies.

When anomalies are plotted on a topographic map, it becomes possible to see "structure" - in this case, a linear vein system that is offset (lateral fault). Further mapping of the width provides TWO dimensions. Ultimately, exploration drilling would define the depth to mineralization, thickness and grade.

Lateral Fault: https://www.iris.edu/hq/inclass/animati ... ht_lateral

Further mapping along strike using the coordinates of anomalies reveals the mineralization!

I look forward to visiting this orebody one day!

Stick around! :)

Jim,

Unfortunately, I actually have immediate plans for higher value targets that I cannot publish on an international forum. :o

My work has revealed a few discoveries that are among the highest prospects. Council has prospects that are on my short list too! Nome has enough high grade prospects to keep an exploration team busy for the next decade. I want to share discoveries I have made in the Petersville area in the next few weeks. I have made three major discoveries in the Iditarod mining district that are foremost prospects. Discoveries in the Disha River district, a Platinum area are on the longer list of prospects. I probably left a few out. :roll:

Sadly, I have GOLD in front of me at eye-ball level. Too many prospects and too little time!

Oh... I forgot to mention the two probable Kimberlite diamond pipes and the Platinum meteorite strewn field.

Stick around, there's more! :)

Petersville;

Back in 2017, while sharing information on this forum about geophysical anomalies in the Petersville mining district, I noticed several very high grade anomalies. Unfortunately, they were already claimed! :o

I had just formed an LLC based on discoveries made at Valdez Creek, the source of a 680,000 ounce placer GOLD mine. Valdez Creek is in the Talkeetna mining district.

Without hesitation, I negotiated the purchase of mining claims that covered the Petersville anomalies. My interest was drawn to the Petersville district because there are numerous high grade anomalies. The anomalies have had recent specimen GOLD in quartz mining. The bedrock LODE has not yet been explored!

I'm getting ready to pack up and leave for the 2021 mining season.

Don't go away! :)

Community;

As it turns out, looking at Alaska mapper, to determine the owner of the domain, much of the ore body has already been prospected, claimed and given away. :o

Sadly, I must report the domain is administered by BLM. The bad news - If you look on mapper, the domain has been selectively carved out, top-filed and GRANTED under a "Community Grant". This amounts to 17 square miles of a 32 square mile grant that is in all probability a precious and base metals deposit.

With the recent DOI mandate against new permitting - I hold little hope for a mining campaign on this deposit.

However;

Upon closer inspection, sections were spared from the carving knife!

There are fortunately, prospects that Bill Clinton didn't know about!

Stay tuned! :)

A work in progress;

For me, prospecting is a work in progress. With additional plotting of anomalies, it becomes obvious that the deposits are converging toward the center of the district! :o

I call it the "Extension".

All of these anomalies support and are supported by the numerous placer GOLD deposits and the half million ounces of past GOLD production.

Stay right there! :)

All of this that you posted just reinforces the "snooze and you lose" concept.

Speaking of Diamonds;

De Beers Canada acquired the Chidliak Project in September 2018 as part of the purchase of Peregrine Diamonds Ltd.

https://canada.debeersgroup.com/operati ... ak-project

Peregrine was generous enough to share the discovery of Kimberlite diamond pipes at Chigliak. I compared in similar terrain in Alaska. :o
