Re: Remote Prospecting?
This is way more than just interesting. it makes me wonder if there are any serious miners following this thread. By "serious miners" I mean those with the know how, ability, finances and all that it takes to actually go in any take advantage of all this information.
Sure, Nome is probably a long way from where most miners reside, but just think of all the research and even foot-work that is already done in the information provided in this thread. Not only that, but there is a big bonus, it's all free.
As far as "remote" goes, yes it is remote by most peoples standards, but None is a place where a lot of infrastructure is already in place, in the form of regularly scheduled transportation and freight services. That, coupled with a possible nearby base for services, such as a work force, as well as a road system, should make this a very appealing project; just sitting and waiting for someone to take advantage of it.
Great information Chuck, thanks for posting it.

Re: Remote Prospecting?
New Years Resolution;
Those that post on this forum are members and we know WHO the members are. We don't know who YOU are.
Jim asked an important question;
"This is way more than just interesting. it makes me wonder if there are any serious miners following this thread. By "serious miners" I mean those with the know how, ability, finances and all that it takes to actually go in any take advantage of all this information."
Remote prospecting takes us all over the planet to places and people we have never met and most we never will meet. My resolution the NEW YEAR is to provide all of the opportunity possible to Remote Prospectors all over the World with a caveat.
This thread has over 67,000 views. As Jim said, "It makes me wonder".
I would simply ask, Who are you? Happy New Year!
