I love the pictures Folks post of there mining operations. Thank you. Some years back I ran the Gold Fever Prospecting camp for Dean Race in the Fortymile Mining District. At the end of 2015 the camp was sold as Dean had gotten into the Dirt Mining. Now at the age of 67 I still "love" the search for Gold. As you know there is no cure for Gold Fever. This year I downsized by putting together a Keene A52 Power Sluice and a Gold Hog Power Sluice by using the Gold Hog Power Head. Capture rate for gold is about 95% with each. This light weight setup will go back to Chicken Alaska for 2021 as a temporary cure for the Fever.

Kurt,
Looks like you are all set.
Interesting place to feed water on that sluice box.
What flavor Gold Hog matting are you going to use ?

Dick, the Gold Hog River Sluice came with 2 Mats. A low flow mat and a regular flow mat. The regular flow mat consists of various gold hog mats. I'm no expert on the mats, but they work. When I had a Dredge and Highbanker I loved the Miners Moss and carpet but I know a lot of folks are trying mats like the Dream Mat, Devins Vortex Drop Riffle, and Keene's Miracle mats. I love the feed into the Flare with the Gold Hog Power Head. Gives me lots of water to wash the bigger rocks if needed and distributes the water flow nicely across the sluice.
